As COVID-19 guidance from local health officials and state government leaders continues to evolve, we wanted to provide some changes to YMCA facility and member amenities beginning Monday, April 5.
We will expand hours of operation at several locations:
- C.M. Gatton Beaumont YMCA and Whitaker Family YMCA
Monday-Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. (previously 8 p.m.)
Saturday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. - North Lexington Family YMCA and High Street YMCA
Monday-Thursday, 5:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. (previously 8 p.m.)
Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday, Closed - All other location hours remain the same
Kids Corner at the North Lexington Family YMCA will reopen. Hours will be Monday-Thursday, 5-8 p.m.
Outdoor classes will begin at several YMCA locations. Weather permitting. Visit our schedules page to reserve your spot each week.
Additional Reminders and Updates:
- Mask/face covering is still required in all areas of the facility (only exception is when in the swimming pool) in accordance with state guidelines. Please review guidance from Fayette County Health Department on proper mask wearing.
- We are live streaming over 50 classes each week through our free Virtual YMCA. You can also access on-demand content from anywhere, anytime. Free and included in your membership.
- Reservations for group in-person classes are still required.
- Our facilities are currently at 60% capacity. You can see how close to capacity the Y is by clicking here and viewing the current status for your location.
- Pickleball will be returning to the North Lexington Family YMCA beginning April 7. Hours will be Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
- Pickleball at the Whitaker Family YMCA is also back on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
