GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
ADULT CHAIR YOGA
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting in a chair or standing using a chair for support.

This class is a fusion of Latin and international music. Dance themes create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow that tone and sculpt the body.

YMCA'S DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM
The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps those at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles by eating healthier, increasing physical activity and losing a modest amount of weight in order to reduce their chances of developing the disease.
This is a 12-month program consisting of 16 core sessions followed by monthly maintenance sessions. Informational Session: Nov. 2, 6-7 p.m. Classes begin Nov. 16, 6-7 p.m. The program is open to all individuals through the Y regardless of their insurance status or their Y membership status.
To participate in the program, you must be:
• 18 years or older,
• Overweight (BMI ≥ 25)*, and
• Diagnosed with prediabetes via one of three blood tests or previous diagnosis of gestational disease.**
Each participant in the program receives a free YMCA membership throughout the duration of the program. The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program is supported locally by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Anthem Medicaid. Join us at the Caroline Memorial Community Center for our first annual Trunk or Treat! This community event is free and open to all and is in partnership with Southland Christian Church.

YMCA OF CENTRAL KENTUCKY REINDEER RAMBLE
12th Annual Reindeer Ramble 5K/10K
The Reindeer Ramble is a wonderful way to participate in a 5K run and fun walk and 10K while supporting scholarships for kids attending the YMCA summer camps. We encourage participants to don their favorite holiday sweater, Santa suit, or “holiday festive” attire and embrace the spirit of the holiday.

A non-refundable deposit of $20 is also required.
